Important information to shareholders with domicile outside of Sweden and banks, brokers and other nominees holding shares registered on residents outside of Sweden.

Ratos’ offer to the shareholders in Biolin Scientific regarding purchase of all the outstanding shares in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in the Offer announcement and the Offer document is not being made to persons whose participation require that any additional offer document is prepared or registered or that any other measures are taken in addition to those required under Swedish law. The Offer document, the acceptance form and any other documentation related to the Offer will not be distributed and must not be mailed or otherwise distributed or sent to or within any country in which the distribution would require any such additional measures to be taken or where this would be in conflict with any laws or regulations in such country. Ratos will not permit or approve any such distribution. Any purported acceptance of the Offer resulting directly or indirectly from a violation of these restrictions may be disregarded.

The Offer is not being made, directly or indirectly, in or into Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland or the United States of America by use of mail or any other means (including but not limited to facsimile transmission, electronic mail, teletex, telephone and the Internet) and the Offer cannot be accepted by any such use or by any such means in or from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland or the United States of America. Accordingly, the Offer document, the acceptance form and any other documentation related to the Offer will not be sent or in any other way provided in or to Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland or the United States of America and may not either be distributed in any such way. Ratos will not deliver any consideration from the Offer into Australia, Canada, Japan New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland or the United States of America. The Offer document will not, and may not, be sent to shareholders with registered addresses in Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland or the United States of America.

Irrespective of the foregoing Ratos reserves the right to allow acceptances of the Offer by persons not resident in Sweden if Ratos by its own discretion considers that the transaction at issue can be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The availability of the Offer to persons not resident in Sweden may be affected by laws and regulations of the jurisdiction at issue. Persons who are not resident in Sweden should inform themselves of and observe any applicable restrictions within their jurisdictions.
